New Trellis and Windscreen

The Beczak Environmental Education Center is a non-profit environmental education facility which presents exhibits and programs for all ages to raise environmental consciousness and to encourage informed stewardship of the Hudson River. Fronting on a county park at the Hudson shore and a newly constructed tidal marsh, the Center occupies a 12,000 square foot building that formerly housed the Social Club for Habirshaw Cable & Wire factory workers. Our services, provided pro bono, included design, construction documentation and oversight for the conversion of the building and extensive coordination with a complex of local, county and state officials and funding entities to piece the project together.
