Hitoshi Amano, senior architect, has spent over twenty years as project architect and designer in the Greater New York City area. Prior to joining STA, Hitoshi gained experience in corporate interiors, building renovations/rebranding, and high-end residential projects, in which he oversaw project phases from preliminary studies through construction administration and post-occupancy services. Notable commercial projects include the NYC offices for Banc of America Securities, lobby and base building renovations for 555 Madison Avenue in NYC and 45 Glover in Norwalk, CT. Among his residential projects are new homes and renovations for clients in Westchester, NY and Martha's Vineyard, MA, as well as apartment renovations in NYC. At STA Hitoshi is providing construction administration for Harrison Playhouse Lofts, a 36 unit mixed use project, and design services on residential renovations. Hitoshi holds a Master of Architecture and B.A. degrees from Princeton University. He is fluent in Japanese.
