Stephanie Reinert, historic preservation director, architectural designer, trained in architecture at the Boston Architectural Center and in historic preservation at Cornell University. Her expertise has prepared her to address full restoration of the 1764 Shingle House in Warwick, NY, the 1884 Thomas Moran Studio in Easthampton and ongoing restoration of the steeple and stained glass at Ossining’s First Baptist Church. In Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, she coordinated the restoration and renovation of an 1894 main house and carriage house, and construction of a new pool. Scarsdale clients downsizing to apartment living have benefitted from her fine-grain work on domestic interiors. With collaborators at STA, she prepares existing conditions assessments for historic buildings and guidelines for historic districts. As a volunteer at historic sites, she has first-hand experience with issues confronting non-profit clients.
